Description

Oak framed metal icon of Saint Patrick of Ireland approximately 6 7/8″ x 4 3/4″, visible size approximately 5 3/4″ x 3 3/4″; oak icon stand is approximately 4 1/2″ wide; post is approximately 5″ tall. Image is a copy of an icon written by Orthodox Iconographer, Father Ephrim, recently deceased. (Image is used with permission.)

St.Patrick is shown with a crosier (staff) indicating that he is a bishop. He holds a clover that he used to explain the Blessed Trinity (three persons in one God); his foot tramps on a sword signifying the death of the pagan gods.
