This First Holy Communion
rosary is made with 8mm wood beads that are interspersed with 3mm
dark wood beads. A Host and Chalice are hand painted on the wood
crucifix that measures approximately 1 5/8" tall. The inscription
on reverse reads "El Salvador".
Parents, along with children of all ages, work together
as a family to create these lovely rosaries. Their goal is to honor
the Blessed Virgin Mary and to encourage others fo pray the beautiful
Rosary. By working in their homes, they are able to maintain a stable
family life and earn an income.
This is a very unusual gift to give for a child who
is receiving Jesus in the Holy Eucharist for the first time and
a delightful gift to give to a godparent. It may also encourage
them to pray the rosary together.
